OUR STORY
Designed by Thomas Turnbull and built in 1901 for the Sisters of Mercy, this historic Victorian Convent was originally located next to Saint Mary's Church in Blenheim.
As St Joseph's Convent it provided nineteen bedrooms for the nuns, a library, music room, sewing room, office and a beautiful chapel upstairs on the first floor.
In 1994, the Convent was moved in five pieces to its present location in Rapaura, Marlborough.

DINE
The Marlborough offers its guests the ability to dine at Harvest their onsite restaurant by pre-arranging dinner reservations.
Harvest's team of chefs specialise in showcasing seasonal gourmet produce from the region and greater NZ. This is enhanced with the use of a Mibrasa charcoal oven providing a unique flavour that will tantalise the tastebuds. The Exec Chef works closely with the local producers and with the Estate Manager to ensure they stay true to their fork to fork philosophy and be as sustainable as possible.
